Andreas,
I thank you for adding information about yourself to wikipedia, but it simply had to go. For one thing, the text that you included has been published under a copyright symbol at [1], which means that for you to post it here would be a violation of Brandeis' copyright. I don't doubt that you are noteworthy enough for inclusion in wikipedia. Please look at WP:WELCOME and WP:BIO for more info. - Richard Cavell 02:24, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Richard -
So, if the bio were re-written from the ground up: it might, just might excape the brandeis copyright tag, no?
Faculty are concerned that universities are copyrighting material that is unique and produced by faculty members themselves; this is a worry with course descriptions and syllabi, too.
The bio is also on the Harvard Site, although this is not an added concern for WP, it may concern any Brandeis claim for exclusivity.

- If the bio were rewritten entirely, copyright would not be a problem. Could I suggest that you place your bio on the talk page and let someone else write the actual article, so it doesn't seem like vanity? - Richard Cavell 06:05, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
