Users may remove warnings from their own talk pages. Archiving is preferred, and users who remove warnings from their talk pages are often perceived as uncooperative, but it is not prohibited. There have been many discussions between recent change patrollers and other editors over whether removing warnings is itself disruptive and vandalism, with the result that there is no consensus that removing warnings is vandalism. However, there is broad consensus among administrators that we will not block users for removing warnings from their own talk pages. Edit warring over warning messages is likely to be seen as harassment. For relevant discussions, please see the following:
