Theropods were a sub-order of saurischian dinosaurs. Most theropods were carnivorous (all carnivorous dinosaurs are theropods), but a few groups, such as the therizinosaurs, ornithomimosaurs, oviraptorosaurs, and troodontids were possibly omnivorous or herbivorous.
