Front cover of the 1976 Pan UK 2nd edition of Jack Higgins' 1975 novel The Eagle Has Landed. This is judged as fair use because:

it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the book in any way; this version of the book is out of print
copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the cover artwork on another book
