I'm trying to model the page after the one I found for Home Depot, giving a little history, a sentence or two about what the company does, ownership, and the list of news items to prove notability. What specifically should I edit or remove that's making it read like an ad?
Thx,

- One note: the claim "the leading honeymoon registry company in the world" should be a cited direct quote, otherwise it's a POV claim. If it can be made into a cited factual statement, such as "TBD was named the top honeymoon registry company by the BBB of ___" or "TBD has been used by more people than any other honeymoon registry company since 2003" or something, that could work, too. -- Scientizzle 00:48, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Got it, thx...I can find a recent article that says this and quote that. Much apprec. -- Michael 00:48, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
OK, maybe I'm in a hole here: the article I want to quote is from the Toronto Globe and Mail, where Karen von Hahn says "In the past three years, more than 20,000 couples from 126 countries (and all 10 Canadian provinces) have registered for everything from airfare to romantic dinners and pampering spa treatments on www.thebigday.com, making it the pre-eminent site for a honeymoon registry.". Problem is, here's the link...it requires a subscription to the Globe and Mail ($$$) in order to read the part of the article that says this. Is that going to be a problem? -- Michael 00:51, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
