I've never heard of a version of "TV screen" that mentions domestic birds...
My recollection, the "theme tune" link, and the link to the 2004 version of the song from http://www.rte.ie/tv/theview/archive/20041130.html (Realplayer; last item on the page) all sound like "ticket" rather than "chicken" in the last line.
Still, I've never actually heard the theme off air so am suggesting this via a talk page rather than the main page, just in case someone is having a laugh.
