Talk:The Irish Catholic

It seems that this site was initiated by a person Gary O'Sullivan as a PR job for himself and the company for which he works. It has also be used is a most dishonest and immature fashion to libel those who formerly edited the paper, ie H Kelly and Simon Rowe. As someone who worked for the company I know most of the pr stuff to be false.
- I agree with you that this page has serious verifiability problems; the way to address this is to remove all assertions that do not have reputable, independent sources provided to back them up (see WP:CITE). At the moment, the only sourced facts in the "1990s" section are that Simon Rowe resigned as editor in 2004[1]. All the other stuff about Herman Kelly, Gary O'Sullivan, Polish editions and competition from former editors is completely unsourced. Demiurge 22:04, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- I've removed the unsourced content from the page. Please do not add in any material without providing reliable sources for it. Note that, under Wikipedia's verifiability policy, personal experience and knowledge are not acceptable sources. Thank you. Demiurge 08:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
