[edit] 1990-93
Gumbel and Bradshaw were the only hosts from 1990-93, so you might want to remove the "?" in the third column. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 00:47, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
Pat O'Brien and Lesley Visser were also on The NFL Today during that particular period. I'm assuming that they were reporters and delivered feature stories.User:TMC1982
[edit] Dick Butkus
Dick Butkus was on The NFL Today from 1988-1989. Butkus pretty much replaced Jimmy the Greek's spot on the show.User:TMC1982
[edit] Charlsie Cantey
Charlsie Cantey filled-in for Phyllis George (who was on maternity leave) on The NFL Today halfway through the 1983 season.User:TMC1982
[edit] Lesley Visser
Shouldnt she be in the table since she was in the early ones, and has the same role now?
[edit] Clarification
Technically, Brent Musburger was flat out fired by CBS (on April Fools Day of 1990) rather than simply not having his contract removed. Musburger was in a messy contract dispute with CBS (along with his brother who was his agent at the time) mainly over money and choice of assignments. It got so bad that CBS named him to be their lead baseball announcer (beginning in 1990), only to pull him just weeks before CBS' first scheduled baseball telecast. CBS seemed to want to further embarrass Musburger by making him call the 1990 NCAA men's basketball final dispite the fact that Musburger knew going in that he was going to be gone.
Irv Cross was still associated with CBS on through the 1993 NFL season. Cross though, was demoted to the role of game analyst and I believe, was forced to take a paycut.User:TMC1982
