[edit] Merger
I'm not sure where the discussion is taking place but I don't see any reason not to merge the articles. Cjrother 14:57, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
The Ontario Regiment and the Ontario Regiment (RCAC) refers to the same regiment. The RCAC in bracketts simply indicates the Regiment is part of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps. It's an armoured regiment.
- If there is any merging, Ontario Regiment should be merged here; "The Ontario Regiment (RCAC)" is the full name of the regiment. I really don't know why the other article was created in the first place; it started off as a redirect to here. --SigPig 05:58, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree, the merge should happen. "The Ontario Regiment (RCAC)" is a less ambigious title. --BajaBravo 20:02, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

- perhaps a description of what RCAC means is in order, as RCAC can also mean Royal Canadian Air Cadets. It had me confused at first

I created this article and have since found some of the information that has been changed incorrect. I am not only a current serving member of the regiment but I have an orginal copy of the offical regimental history.

[edit] Battle honours
What do people think of the two sets of honours now on the article? Personally I prefer the shorter version (the one without the dates). Cjrother 02:22, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed the second list. In addition to the links being mostly incorrect, all of the honours were bolded when only some of them should have been. Cjrother 15:41, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Your removeal of dates and links to information on the locations of the battle honours was wrong and should not have been done. Instead an attempt to contact me would have been more apropreate. Currently I can't log in but when I am able to I will repair the errors that someone has made.
