[edit] Pride alumi introduce themselves
I marched Pride in the tuba section in 1995 and 1996, and was in pit crew in 1994. Does anyone have a list of shows The Pride has performed over the years? We should document these here. Also, does anyone have a list of awards they've won in the past? We should list the highlights here. If you stumble across this article and know people currently in The Pride, please alert them to this article's existence so that they can edit it! -- William Wright (now going by Clyde) --Clydeiii 13:14, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- And while you're editing this page, remember that most Wikipedia readers have no idea what country this mysterious "Broken Arrow" is in, much less what state. As it was, you had to get down to the middle of the Accomplishments section before you saw the word "Oklahoma". I've fixed it <grumble, grumble>. — Nowhither 05:54, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
If only I could remember the names and years of the shows :) By the way, be sure to check out Drums of Summer. It's a big fundraiser for the Pride. Ash Lux 05:07, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
This article is way too bland. It's almost an advertisement "Our band won this, Our band marched here. Our band etc." It needs history and some actual factual information, not a list of accomplishments and that they marched at a fiesta bowl. This is an encyclopedia article, not a list.
