Talk:The Trampformers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi, I am the originator of the article about The TrampFormers. I have recently tried to make it more neutral and to include references to information sources. I do agree that it was previously far too subjective. Attempts have also been made to show the notability of the article to the wider Wikipedia readership. Hopefully this is a little closer to Wikipedia's style specification but further suggestions for improvement are of course most welcome. Thanks Lord Cutglass 05:00, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
The Trampformers are typical of the many unknown bands invading Wikipedia who have done nothing to deserve their inclusion. They are not very good. They'll be gone soon and never heard of again as they're never likely to get a record deal.
Thanks for your comment. I agree that they are still relatively unknown, especially outside the Liverpool gigging scene. How good they are is of course a very subjective thing. Regarding a record deal, I'd be cautious about using the word 'never'. Lord Cutglass
Dear Editors: I've had a go at the following with this article since the mistakes were pointed out to me: (1) Cleared (I think) the self-referencing, (2) Given reasons for notability, (3) Added a references section, (4) Cut out (hopefully) all the subjective stuff and tried to make it as neutral as possible. Any chance now of it being ok to remove the referencing and notability templates linked to this article? Would appreciate any opinions on this or suggestions for further editing as required. Thanks.
