The Appreciation Post are a popular indie rock band that originated in Boston, Massachusetts. Focusing on melody, the band uses a fair share of Moog synthesizer sounds along with rhythm guitars and vocals to produce interesting and catchy music influenced by both '70s and '90s pop music.
The band are currently receiving airplay on many radio stations across North America, including heavy-hitters WBCN & WFNX in Boston. The track "Im No Sure Thing" (from the band's debut EP) hit WONC's Top 5 rotation in Chicago, Illinois alongside artists such as Yellowcard & Hawthorne Heights and received heavy rotation at WJMF in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
The Appreciation Post appeared on the 2006 Warped Tour.

[edit] Band history
After the break-up of their former band, Roxie, singer/guitarist Jim Keaney and drummer Ted Carlson began writing and recording songs with roommate/guitarist Scott Morganella (Junction 18). With the addition of friends Vietnam Le on bass and Roger Lussier on synth, The Appreciation Post soon released their debut self-titled 4-song EP in late 2005 and began touring, quickly building a dedicated fanbase opening for bands including Dashboard Confessional, No Trigger, The Forecast, Koufax & Mando Diao.
In July 2006, The Appreciation Post embarked on a tour of the east coast and midwest and asked old friend Brad Herrick to step in for Morganella, who left the band in early 2006.
