The Beatles' Million Sellers was an EP by the Beatles, released December 6, 1965.
It consisted of :
Side A: 1) She Loves You 2) I Want To Hold Your Hand
Side B: 1) Can't Buy Me Love 2) I Feel Fine
The opening song, "She Loves You", landmarks the tune as a definitive contributiion to "Beatlemania" with the catch words "Yeah,Yeah,Yeah". As the Beatles perfomed the song live on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1964, they shook their long hair after the lyrics " You know you should be glad" accompanied by a vocal harmony of the falsetto proclamation "WOOO"
" I Want To Hold Your Hand" was a monster hit as the world was introduced to the duo of John Lennon and Sir Paul Mcartney vocalizing, with John at the forefront and Sir Paul complimenting and accentuating the backbeat and harmony.
While the first two songs had proper or standard musical introductions or "intros", (drums on song 1; guitar on song 2) the third song crashed in with the vocal by Paul, "Can't buy me love" with the musical accompanyment joining in on the word "love".
Side B, song 2, opens with one of the first, if not the first, song by the Beatles to "stamp" a sound, phrase, or vocalazition on a recording in which the tune could be recognized by its opening . "I Feel Fine" utilizes a single guitar note including unwarranted feedback from guitar which would be left uncut as an enhancement.
The EP was only released in Mono and never released in Stereo
Its catalogue number is Parlophone GEP 8946
