The Berenstain Bears and The Nerdy Nephew is an episode in the Berenstain Bears.

Professor Actual Factual brings a new cub to school called Ferdy Factual who is very smart and knows a lot of things but doesn't know about friends. Soon Queenie comes along and all Ferdy does is play chess. He teaches Queenie how to play. Brother, Freddie and Sister go and tell him that Queenie is pretending to be his friend to get homework answers from him. Ferdy tells them that it's not true, and ignores them. After school, Brother tells Ferdy to go to his place to play video games. He says he has homework. Queenie comes along and soon she and Ferdy are homework partners working together. Even next day Ferdy shows off and gets a higher homework score from Teacher Bob. When Ferdy plays chess by himself again, he sees Brother playing with the ball. He asks him to pass. Brother refuses as he looks like he is pretending he doesn't want it. Ferdy insists. So Brother throws. He talks to Queenie and doesn't see the ball coming. It hits him on the stomach. Too-tall, his gang and Queenie laugh until their sides ache. Ferdy runs away and Brother chases after him. Brother tells Ferdy that he is showing off. Ferdy apologises. They nearly miss their soccer game. So they hurry. They beat the team and they win. They even cheer for Ferdy. Soon all goes well for Ferdy.
