The Deep Blue is the second album from British singer/songwriter Charlotte Hatherley, released on the 5th March 2007. The album was mainly recorded in Italy, and was the first record Charlotte created since leaving Ash in January 2006. It was leaked on to file sharing websites in early January 2007.
To date, two singles have been released from the album: the "Behave" EP released in December 2006 (which achieved widespread critical acclaim, as well as being BBC 6 Music's Phill Jupitus's track of the week, as well as in several other musical publications) and "I Want You To Know", released as a single on 26 February 2007. Planet Sound called this a potential Album of the Year candidate when previewing new albums of 2007.
In an interview on Charlotte's official website, she is quoted as saying that the next single will be "Siberia".
