[edit] Synopsis
Jack helps his down-and-out brother Eddie with a job at TGS – but can the staff handle two Donaghys? Thats a question that Jack might want to answer himself after Eddie shows up to tell Jack that their father has died. So the two bury the hatchet and organize a family reunion, with Eddie asking for donations to "Chicago All Saints Hospital" in the form of checks. Eddie asks donators to write out the hospital's initials in place of the payee, but Liz realizes that this spells "cash," making it so Eddie can use the "donations" as bearer checks. Soon after this, the senior Donaghy turns up alive and well, leading to major chaos among the clan.
Meanwhile, Liz, forced to make staff cutbacks, wonders if axing NBC lawyer Floyd's girlfriend, other Liz, would look desperate, even at the expense of breaking Floyd's heart. However her orders to trim the staff gets out of hand when she takes it too far by axing not only the other Liz, but the whole accounting staff as well, prompting Jack to save the day by rehiring Liz #2 and transferring her to GE's Connecticut headquarters.
Tracy seeks spiritual fulfillment – at his lawyer's request – with the help of his coworkers. After being turned down by the Church of Practicology, he tries out Kenneth Potsdown's church, but is scarred away by the thought of eternal damnation. Jenna tells him about Kabbalah, "the fun part of Judaism with magic." Tracy decides to be Irish Catholic because, according to Eddie Donaghy, "you can do anything, anything- and as long as you go to confession, it's forgiven." Tracy abandons Catholicism when Jack tells him that it comes with a crushing guilt. His final religion of choice is unresolved.
