The Gazette is a newspaper based in Colorado Springs, Colorado that is lauded for its local reporting and large margins that make it easier to read. It is published daily by Irvine, Calif.-based Freedom Communications. It is the second largest daily newspaper in the chain.

In 1946, the Colorado Springs Gazette and the Colorado Springs Evening Telegraph merged to form the Colorado Springs Gazette-Telegraph. The paper was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1990 for feature writing. Its name was changed to The Gazette in 1997.
