The Glass Slipper Project
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Glass Slipper Project is one of the Charitable Prom Organizations in place across the U.S.. It is based in Chicago Illinois and provides prom dresses and accessories to girls with junior and/or senior status in chicago area high schools. The organization has been featured in several media outlets, including the Oprah Winfrey Show.
The project was inspired by similar initiatives that are happening across the country and plans to give away dresses every spring. Other projects giving away free prom attire for high school students can be found on the organization's website [1] and on Youth Noise.
