The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is a British charitable organisation founded in 1934.
It is one of the largest funders of eye research in the UK, a successful rights campaigner as well as a world-class dog-breeder. All this work overshadows its traditional job of simply providing guide dogs to blind and partially-sighted individuals. Its headquarters is in Burghfield Common in the English county of Berkshire.
