HeadHunters Football Club are an entirely fictional football team based on the popular videogames series, Pro Evolution Soccer/Winning Eleven, with the team consisting of forum members from the PES/WE community website, www.wemaniacs.com. The team is made up entirely of created players (one per each member of the team), and the Dream Teams play each other in a League and Cup format (this is done by neutral moderators who run the games on their PC's and post videos of the games up on the website).

[edit] History
The team was created in early 2006 by forum member Jamster (who has recently joined the DT Sharks for the forthcoming DTL Season 4 campaign). Originally named, dGlobetrotters FC, the team had a rather slow start with the recruitment of players hard to come by and the project was subsequently dropped with the lack of interest in the side. But after a short month in the shadows, the team was brought back to life by Billy Minof (manager of the DT Sharks) and interest began to pick up quickly and the team finally had a complete roster of players and a full range of kits by mid-March.
With Season 3 of the DTL scheduled to begin in August 2006, the team headed in a new direction under the supervision of it's new manager, Sullivan, in July 2006. There was a name change and a new set of kits where created....the team would now be known as The HeadHunters FC.
[edit] Stadium
On the back of their historic final day league title success, Sullivan and all the guys at the HeadHunters FC where delighted to finally announce to the public the fantastic new stadium where they would be plying their trade come the beginning of Season 4.
Costing in at £230m, the stadium features a 206 feet retractable roof, which to fully open or close takes a total time of 11 minutes. Also a big feature of the stadium is a fully retractable natural grass playing surface, ideal for the Headhunters playing surface to grow more naturally in between games and also for huge star studded concerts!
The Headhunters also homes one of the most gifted Goalkeepers of the modern era. His robust frame and liking of the colour green have seen shirt sales soar in Asia and his status as the best keeper in the DTL is questionable but the fellow players and fans alike would not swap him for anybody. Yeah.

[edit] Whats Is a Dream Team?
First off, what is a dream team (DT)? Well it is a fictional team made up of a collection of forum members.
Each member of the DT will create themselves in their version of Pro Evolution Soccer and post their details in a thread set up by a DT manager. These details include the player creation details such as eye colour and hairstyle etc, right down to if they like having tape around their ankles.
From that a player then needs to create his attributes by using the following list.
Outfield players Rules 1: 18 players per team 2: 2000 point limit for outfield players. 30 points minimum for all attributes bar goalkeeper skills which can be 1 3: Only three attributes within the 95-99 range are allowed. 4: Only four attributes allowed within the 90-94 range allowed. 5: 18 points for other attributes (consistency, weak foot etc.) the minimum being 2 points only. 6: Two positions only then each additional position costs 15 points from your attributes, then 30, then 60 and so on. 7: Your player may have four special abilities if his injury constitution is A, five if it is B and six if it is C.
Goalkeepers Rules 1: 1400 points total. 2: Goalkeeping ability and Response is limited to 95 points max. 3: Goalkeepers can have any other three attributes between 90 - 94 max. 4: Goalkeepers can have free-kick and Offense set to one point. 5: Goalkeepers get three special abilities regardless of injury constitution. 6: 18 points for other attributes (consistency, weak foot etc.) the minimum being 2 points only.
Consistency, Condition, Weak foot accuracy and weak foot frequency are 18 completely separate stats, they are not included in the overall 2000 points allowed.
The actual playing of a match is CPU Vs CPU only and there is no actual online play with the teams, the idea is to get members more active on the boards.
We have a league in place as well as rules to follow and the matches themselves are actually recorded and then made available for players to watch.
The best way to explain this concept is to say it is pretty much the first football role playing system created using Pro Evolution Soccer 5 as it's base.
