The Last Vegas

The Last Vegas is a Chicago based rock band with members Nate Arling (drums), Adam Arling (guitar), Chad Cherry (lead vocals), John Wator (guitar), and Anthony Rubino (bass), originating from Rockford Illinois, Detroit, and Chicago.

The Last Vegas sound pays homage to 70's rock while mixing in punk and hard rock sounds.[citation needed]
The band released their first record, "Lick 'Em and Leave 'Em" on independent distributor Get Hip in 2003, which was met with critical success, allowing them to establish a cult following across Europe. From that time onward The Last Vegas has toured persistently, landing support for various acts,including Buckcherry, Urge Overkill, Nashville Pussy, the Cynics, and more.

- Beating out thousands of bands, The Last Vegas was the winner of the 2006 RedOctane "Be a Guitar Hero" contest. As such, their track, "Raw Dog," is included in the video game Guitar Hero II in playable form.
- Musical highlight at the 2006 Extreme Sport Dewfest Tour, Portland, Oregon.
- Music featured on MTV’s Ghole, Pimp my Ride, Cribs.
- Music featured on Fuel TV.
- Nate Arling drummed for Urge Overkill (2004)
