[edit] Plot
Christine & Kim are leaving to pickup the kids at a birthday party. Christine & Kim tell Greg & Jimmy not to do anything special for their anniversaries. Greg tells Jimmy they are expecting something big since they brought the subject up. They try to figure out what to do for the anniversary, but can't figure out what to do.
Jimmy & Greg surprise Kim & Christine with a trip to the new seafood restaurant, The Blue Fins, a Rascal Flatts concert and they are going there in a limo they rented. Christine says she hasn't been in a limo since her wedding day when she flashed the guests at the church. Leonard, the limo driver didn't buy any liquor so Jimmy makes him stop at the liquor store. Greg can't open his wine cooler, but Christine helps him.
At the restaurant they are told their table isn't ready. When they are waiting Billy F. Gibbons from ZZ Top walks in with three women and gets seated right away. Christine wants his autograph so Jimmy goes over and asks. Billy gives Jimmy a keychain and an autographed copy of his book. Two local radio celebrities come in and are seated right away as well. Jimmy calls the next empty table no matter what. Mr. Savitsky walks in with three women and asks Jimmy if he has any spare Viagra. They end up getting take out so they can make it to the concert on time. When they get out to the parking lot they find their limo driver drunk and throwing up. Greg calls for a replacement driver and is told it will be an hour before another one can come out. Jimmy decides to drive after Greg gives him a breathalyzer, but gets stuck in a traffic jam. Jimmy attempts to take a shortcut and gets stuck at a dead end. Greg gets out to help him turn around the limo, which takes him so long to do he is low on gas.
They finally pull into the parking lot at the concert, but the concert has just finished up. They say that it might not have been that great. Just then someone walks by and says that there was three encores and a women who took her top off. Rascal Flatts comes out and hops in the limo (thinking it was theirs). They think they are in the wrong limo when they see Greg, Kim, and Christine, but Jimmy lies and says it is a full service limo. Greg is the guy from the corporate office grading him. Christine is the bar tender and Kim is the concierge. Jimmy hits a parking cone which Greg states he will report to headquarters. After awhile Jimmy asks Greg to switch with him so he can have fun as well. The limo driver starts to stir from his drunken state. Jimmy is forced to tell the truth. He tells them they had a horrible night and just wanted to meet Rascal Flatts. The band decides to play "Broken Road" on the street corner for them. When they are finished the police pull up and try to arrest Jimmy, Greg, Christine, and Kim for kidnapping the band, but are let go when they find out the truth.
[edit] Notes
- It is revealed in this episode that Jimmy & Christine were married in 1994 and Greg & Kim were married in 1995, since it was their 12th and 11th wedding anniversaries respectably, despite an earlier episode which suggested Jimmy & Christine's wedding was in the late 1980's.
