The Mistress was a British sitcom starring Felicity Kendal that aired for two series from 1985 to 1987. It was written by Carla Lane, who had also written Butterflies. Kendal had previously starred in The Good Life and Solo. It is not currently available on DVD.

Maxine manages a florist shop and is having an affair with a married man called Luke. Luke's wife Helen is totally unaware of the affair. Maxine occasionally feels guilty about the affair, she usually remains optmistic and happy.
