The Noose is a play written by Willard Mack that was later adapted for film.

It opened on Broadway the night of October 20, 1926 at the Hudson Theatre. It is perhaps best known today for introducing the previously unknown Barbara Stanwyck. It also featured actors Rex Cherryman and Wilfred Lucas.

The film version, which was released in 1928, stars Richard Barthelmess, Montagu Love, Robert Emmett O'Connor and Thelma Todd. The movie was adapted by Garrett Graham and James T. O'Donohoe from the play by Willard Mack and H.H. Van Loan. It was directed by John Francis Dillon and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor (Richard Barthelmess).
