Onwueze Aniemeke, who died in 1942 or thereabouts, was not the person who crowned the late one. Elue Nwadiokwu, who was the Onishe of Onicha -ugbor. By virtue of Onicha ubor (located in Delta Ibo state) native law and custom, an Obi (meaning king) is installed and crowned by the Onishe and Iyase with the active support of the Obi in-council.
[edit] History Of Onicha Ugbor
It is almost universally accepted that Onicha (founder of onicha ugbo) is a descent of Eze Chime. His ancestors came from the Great Royal family of the Benin empire in the 1700 A.D. The Ogiso family and the Ovio had a conflict, leading Ovior to migrate from Benin to east towards Niger, which later became Obior. The prominent ruler of descendant of obior known as Eze Chime, his children were:
- Ukapli female
- Onicha male
- Idia female
- Ifite female
- Oligbo male
Onicha being the first son took over the throne after Eze Chime. Onicha and his family migrated to a place known as Onicha Ugbo, the migrates cultivated the land finding it fruitful, set up a farm and settled there. Onicha and his family mutilped. He himself had children which were named after areas. The language spoken is Ibo.

The three Popular Rulers of Onicha ugbo
Onwaeze the Obi iduh's brother, Onwaeze ruled from 1917 to 1927. Descendants include second generation Kojo Onwaeze, Angelina, Ezewinke, Dibia, Gilbert, Mathias, Abolo, Titi, Ifeyinwa, Adaolie, Uma.
SECOND Generation
Nonye Onwaeze, Chidi Onwaeze, Victor Ogochuwkuw Onwaeze, Anwuli Onwaeze, Kojo Onwaeze, Cordelia Onwaeze, Sunny Onwaeze, Asia Onwaeze.
THIRD generation
Egoamaka Egbe, Solu Abanum, Chineye Abanum, Socrates, Chuchu, Anwuli Onwaeze, Nnamdi Onwaeze, Ekene Onwaeze, Onyinye. These are the known.
Current and present day King
Obi Chukwumaleze was at first denied and disowned by his father Obi Emenem, but following family traditon, court rule he became Obi of Onicha ugbo. He is married to the beautiful Iyokor and has a daughter a Chidima.
