The Pictures are an Australian alternative rock band based in Melbourne, Victoria. The band is led by Davey Lane, the lead guitarist of Australian alternative rock band You Am I. To date, they have released one studio album, Pieces of Eight, as well as three EPs. The Pictures have recently been working on a new album, which is expected later in 2007. Johhny T has recently left the band to spend more time with his family.
