The Postmodern Life of My Aunt

The Postmodern Life of My Aunt (Simplified Chinese: 姨妈的后现代生活; Traditional Chinese: 姨媽的後現代生活; pinyin: Yi mā de hòu xiàn dài shēng húo) is a Hong Kong film, directed by the renowed director, Ann Hui. Its executive producer was Yuan Mei; another producer was Er Yong. The film was based off a novel with the same title written by Yan Yan, while the film's screenplay was by Li Qiang, a Chinese scriptwriter.
Starring Siqin Gaowa as Ye Rutang and Chow Yun Fat as Pan Zhichang, The Postmodern Life of My Aunt premiered at film festivals around the world; it was a special presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film also guest-starred Chinese actresses Zhao Wei and Lisa Lu.[1]
