The Sadist is a 1963 black and white exploitation film written and directed by James Landis, based on real life serial killers Charles Starkweather and Caril Fugate. It stars Arch Hall Jr., son of exploitation impressario, writer, producer,and director Arch Hall Sr.. It also has cinematography by Academy Award winning Wilmos Zigmond. One of the better collaborations of the Hall family, and well played for such a low budget production.
