François Perrin, a dazed musician, arrives at Orly with a black shoe at a foot and a beige at the other. The chief of the French secret service, Louis Toulouse, then decides to use him in his plan to make his assistant, Milan, who seeks to take its place, fail. He makes Milan believe that Perrin is a dangerous spy, a credible assumption based on the mediocrity and the odd behavior of Perrin. Milan will employ a fair seductresses, Christine, in her mission of information.
