The Tunguska Event are an alternative rock band hailing from Cardiff, UK. Formed in late 2005, the band was initially composed of founder member Joe Mensor, Eddie Wyatt, Geat and Rich Hutchinson.
In April 2006, Rich Hutchinson left the band citing musical differences, and was replaced shortly thereafter by drummer Tom Conway.
The Tunguska Event's debut EP, Green Eye of the Little Yellow God, was released on 26th April 2006.
30th October 2006 saw the release of the band's second EP, "...and you call that a relapse".
