Theo Albrecht

Theodor Paul Albrecht, generally known as Theo Albrecht (born March 28, 1922), is a German entrepreneur, who in 2004 was ranked by Forbes magazine as the 22nd richest person in the world, with a net worth of $18 billion. He owns the Trader Joe's specialty grocery store chain and is CEO of Aldi. He and his brother Karl Albrecht own the Aldi discount supermarket chain.
In 1971, Theo was kidnapped for 17 days. A $3 million dollar ransom was paid for his release. [1]
