Theology and the Arts
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Theology and the Arts (or, Theological Aesthetics) is an academic subdiscipline of theological studies which examines the relationship between:
- theology (i.e., reasoned discourse concerning religion, spirituality, and God), and
- the arts (i.e., the broad subdivision of culture consisting of many expressive disciplines such as dance, drama, film, literature, music, poetry, and visual arts).
As is common with theological studies, most of the work done in this field is based in the Christian faith.
