Thereza Bazar

Thereza Bazar (born 23 May 1957, Toronto, Ontario, Canada), is a British-Canadian singer, best known as one half of the pop duo, Dollar.
Bazar first found fame as a member of 1970s group Guys n' Dolls, who scored a 1975 hit with "There's A Whole Lot Of Lovin'", before she and then-partner and fellow band mate David Van Day broke away to form Dollar in 1977. Their hits started with "Shooting Star" in 1978, and continued, on and off, until "Oh L'amour" hit the Top Ten across Europe in the late 1980s.
Bazar's solo career was less successful. She released an album and single in 1985, both entitled The Big Kiss, but each failed to achieve a notable chart position.
Bazar is now living in Sydney, Australia, with her husband and two sons. Nevertheless, she has occasionally returned to the UK to reform Dollar, for events such as The Prince's Trust "Tribute To Trevor Horn" concert at Wembley Arena in November 2004; and the reality television show Reborn in the USA in 2003. However, Dollar were the first act to be voted off the show.
