Volume 8: The Threat is Real is the name of the eighth full-length album by the band Anthrax. The album was released in July of 1998 by Ignition Records. The band and Paul Crook produced the album, which includes the single "Inside Out". Other singles released were "Crush", "P & V" and "Born Again Idiot". Volume 8: The Threat Is Real only debuted at #122 on the Billboard 200 charts.
One of the bonus tracks was a cover of Radiohead's "The Bends"
