Thomas Silhavy

Thomas J. Silhavy is an American molecular biologist and professor at Princeton University. He has made significant contributions to the field of bacterial genetics such as signal transduction, protein secretion, bacterial stress responses, and outer membrane biogenesis.
Silhavy was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2005.
