Thorium-230
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thorium-230 is a radioactive isotope of thorium with 90 electrons and protons and 140 neutrons. It has a half life of 75380 years. When it decays, it emits an alpha particle and turns into Radium-226. It has a decay energy of 4.77 MeV. It is highly unstable which is why it is not found in nature. It has a mass of 230.0331338 grams/mole. Uranium-234 decays into this element.
