Ticu Isari (b. 14 October 1953) is a Romanian, writer, journalist, essayist and talk show host. Published writer, he is the author of celebrated books "The latest news" and "The facts of the world".
He is also known as the pioneer ,leader and founder of the first independent and private television station in Romania, TELE'M Iasi and Piatra Neamt.

Born in Iasi city, the former capital of Moldova, Ticu graduated from Superior School of Aviation, Bucharest in 1978. Soon after, he becomes Air traffic controller at Iasi Airport for 20 years. Admirer of fine arts, he graduated from Art Academy, as artist painter and in 2001 from Ecological University's Faculty of Law , Bucharest.

In 1990, soon after the fall of the communism, Ticu Isari accomplished one of his dreams, television on air, Television Moldova. TELE'M, based in Iasi , with stations in Iasi and Piatra Neamt , began airing for the first time on 23rd of December 1991,channel 28 UHF. He was founder and co-partner of SOTI Bucharest.
The channel’s slogan- " Tele'M your television!" describes perfectly a dynamic, competitive and original TV content. Year by year, Tele'M was a strong voice of civil society being one of the highest rated local televisions in Romania. Tele'M provided a wide range of quality news, sports, information and entertainment programming. Tele'M did not affiliate any national television, broadcasting local productions mixed with international series and documentaries . Between 1991 and 2003 ,Ticu Isari was TV Host of more than 2400 political and social talk shows.
Tele M hosted the first DUPLEX in Romanian television history and the first interactive TV Show with viewers by phone. Tele M's programming strategy was to offer the public the possibility to address the local and governmental authorities, cultural personalities and celebrities.
Ticu Isari, member of ARCA, UZP, the Union of Local Televisions, made known his television, Tele’M, on international television markets as Cannes, Budapest, Monte Carlo, Berlin, being recognized as one of the best televisions in Eastern Europe.

His journalistic career was rewarded with the Academic Prize "Vasile Pogor" for his extraordinary contribution, by means of mass media communication, to Romanian society and for his outstanding results in his work along the years. He was a frequent editorialist, commentator and analyst in Romanian and foreign media including ,24:ORE , Flacara Iasului,and Contemporanul.
Ticu Isari was a writer of poetry and short stories before 1989 .His works "The latest news" , a veritable chronicle of Romanian between 1995-2000 and "The facts of the World"(2002) was highly rated by University Teacher Constantin Simirad, Historian Gheorghe Buzatu and Dr. Tudor Vlad ,from Cox Foundation ,United States.
His position as founder president of Rotary International in Iasi, in 1995 ,played a key role in his community, improving the quality of health and social system, through humanitarian service , helping people in need.
For the last couple of years, Ticu Isari lives in Canada. He is the manager of Dracula Film, a video production company and member of Rotary Club of New Westminster, British Columbia.
