Tilbury (2001 population 4,534) is a community west of Chatham and east of Windsor in the municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada. As of 1998, the Town of Tilbury no longer exists as it was amalgamated into Chatham-Kent, Ontario.

The automotive industry is a major industry in Tilbury; citing many notable establishments, such as The Tilbury Auto Mall, and numerous manufacturing plants, including ArvinMeritor (Formerly Rockwell International), Woodbridge Foam, Siemens Canada Limited, Autoliv , plus numerous others.
Geographically, Tilbury is close to two major highways, including Ontario provincial highway 401. It's also very close to the border crossings in Windsor, Ontario. Tilbury is the largest urban area located adjacent to Ontario Provincial 401 between Windsor and London.
Tilbury has a great economy and most people will find no problem finding work there, and with the affordable homes, some people find it a great place to raise their families away from it all. There are many Victorian homes in Tilbury and it has some impressive structures like its Post Office, Catholic Church, and many impressive stores.
Tilbury is also home of the Titans of Tilbury District High School.This is a smaller school with a population of around 450
