It seems incorrect to me that there are 2 rock operas listed before Tommy, "the first rock opera"
"Soul music develops out of gospel with recordings like "Cathy's Clown" (The Everly Brothers) and "Chain Gang" (Sam Cooke)"... to connect "Cathy's Clown" with soul seems frankly bizarre. rodii 23:34, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
I think it might be useful to include the UK's Melody Maker Awards over this period as they reflect changing shifts in trends from straight jazz to blues-rock, etc. and beyond. As the amount of information probably warrants a separate article, maybe on this timeline we should just mention the winners of each category rather than the full ranking of all the musicians.83.180.162.89 13:03, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
