Tim Key

Tim Key is a British Actor, Comedy Writer in stage, radio and television ( b. England 1976 ).
Tim is member of the British four man sketch group Cowards. Tim’s BBC radio 4 show All Bar Luke (produced by Seb Barwell) - the chronicles of a hapless divboy, condemned to live on the outskirts of a morally bankrupt friendship group - has been commissioned for a second series. Tim was first noticed in the stage production Far Too Happy with the Cambridge Footlights, a total Edinburgh sell out which picked up a Perrier Award Best Newcomer Nomination. Key pretended to be a student at Cambridge University in order to be eligible for Footlights; in fact, he had been an undergraduate at Sheffield and was simply living in Cambridge. In 2004, Tim created Luke & Stella, a tragic play based around Luke, which he took to Edinburgh. Occasionally he performs Luke live in london comedy clubs. Tim also perform's in a two man act called 'Freeze' with fellow 'Coward', actor-writer Tom Basden.

Tim Key was born in 1976. However, it is a popular and much believed urban myth that he was born in 1977 due to his baby face and popular references.
As a 15yr old he successfully completed Wainwrights 'Coast to Coast walk' along with 2 friends in order to raise money for the Emmaus homeless charity.
