Tim Shepard

Tim Shepard is a character in S.E. Hinton's novel The Outsiders. He is the leader of the Shepard gang, which fights in the big rumble along with the Brumly boys and Ponyboy's gang. He has a younger brother named Curly, who is in the reformatory during the course of the novel. He is supposedly a friend of Dallas Winston, who also slashes his tires and subsequently gets into a fight with Tim.
Tim first appears in The Outsiders. It is revealed in That Was Then, This Is Now that Tim and Curly have a sister named Angela; all three Shepard siblings appear in that book and movie.
The character has been played by three different actors; Glenn Withrow in The Outsiders, Robert Rusler in The Outsiders TV Series and Brooks Gardner in That Was Then, This Is Now.
