TimeTrex is a Commercial Open Source web-based Payroll and Time Management suite for small to medium sized businesses delivered on demand through a web based interface (Software as a Service) or downloaded and installed on a local server. It includes modules for: Employee Scheduling (time clock, timesheet), Job Costing, Invoicing / Accounts Receivable, Document Management and Payroll. The attendance and job costing modules are able to interface with hardware such as iButtons, barcode readers and cell phones to more efficiently track employee time. The payroll module can be configured to calculate federal, state and local taxes in US and Canada, generate detailed electronic paystubs for employees, print paychecks or direct deposit funds into employee bank accounts.
TimeTrex is a policy based system where business rules such as lunch/breaks, overtime, premium time and holidays can be configured and automatically calculated and enforced without further administrator intervention.
