I'm from Coventry, England.
I'm studying mathematics at the University of Warwick.
In my spare time, I mess around with computers, doing stuff with GNU/Linux, and occasionally the Hurd. I enjoy programming in Perl, as it seems a very expressive computer language. I feel I really must learn more C.
I am a member of the FSF - free software has become very important to me. I am a member of the University of Warwick Computing Society, and was on the exec as the LUG Liason Officer for 2005-2006.
Wikis have interested me ever since I first encountered them, back in about 2002.

My interests have been known to extend beyond software, of course.
I studied three foreign languages up to GCSE level, and really wish I hadn't forgotten all the Russian I ever knew. If I ever get the chance, I think I would like to learn Latin.
Occasionally I cause trouble at the Students' Union, in the interests of democratic participation.
