Fifi Le Fume --> Fifi La Fume. Either a typo or someone was confused. -Z

I've seen it spelled both ways all over the net, but most official sources (like text in the show) has been "Fifi La Fume". zorin

The IMDB entry for the show even lists it as Fifi Le Fume. I am not completely sure what the credits in the show actually show, but give me a couple days and I'll have that answer for you. I think it's Le, instead of La. Eric42 18:25, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Hamton J. Pig is also spelled without a P if you are referring to the character on the show, Tiny Toon Adventures! Thus, I have fixed it and redirected Hampton J. Pig to the right spelling. Eric42 18:25, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Are people for or against adding TTA to Category:Child versions of cartoon characters? I can see merits for both inclusion and exclusion, but I'm leaning towards inclusion. --Carl 03:39, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I'm against it. TTA are characters in their own right and are not child versions of Looney Tunes. While many characters were based on Looney Tunes characters (Buster, Hampton, Plucky, Fifi, Dizzy Devil, Furball, etc.), many other characters have no parallel in the Looney Tunes universe (most notably Elmyra, Montana Max, Merrie Melody, and Babs Bunny). The mere fact that the original Looney Tunes characters are teachers of the Tiny Toons indicates they both exist at the same time.

Elmyra is the counterpart of Elmur Fudd (similar first names, her last name is his reversed, and they share similar facial features in addition to often chasing/hunting the animal characters), and Montana Max is that of Yosamite Sam (similar name theme, bad tempered).

They are child versions of themselves, though. Maybe Category:Child versions of cartoon characters needs to be moved to Category:Child versions of adult cartoon characters. Dave 19:05, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I added the weasel tag mostly because of the Reputation & Legacy section, though the entire article needs to be beefed up with some source citation--Interviews with writers, creators, critics, etc. I will see what sources I can find but if some of the articles contributors could trace their footsteps that would be ideal. Just a few of the weasel sections...

• Critics of the series considered the Tiny Toons characters to be little more than knock-offs of the original Termite Terrace creations,

• The many animation studios to work on Tiny Toons were Tokyo Movie Shinsha (usually regarded as the best), Wang Film Productions, AKOM, Freelance Animators New Zealand, Encore Cartoons, StarToons, and Kennedy Cartoons, considered by both the fandom and the cast and crew of the show to be the worst animation house that worked on Tiny Toons

• The classic cartoons from Warner, Disney, and so on from Hollywood's Golden Age of Animation used storyboards only; when scripts emerged in the animation industry in the late 1960s, many animation veterans felt (and to this very day, still feel) that script-driven cartoons are inferior to storyboard-driven cartoons. What was his actual involvement?

Spielberg was head and founder of Amblin Entertainment, which co-produced the show. [edit] Cleanup

I've just done some light cleanup on this article, fixing some tone issues, removing speculation, and (temporarily) removing statements that have been tagged as needing citations for quite some time. They may well be true, but a reliable source is still needed before they should be restored. Additionally, some of the sources currently in use are unsatisfactory- links to message boards and Usenet are not acceptable per the guideline on reliable sources. I was wondering if anyone would ever think they can make up an idea bout a version of this for the more teenage generation of today? Either that or tiny toon adventures was suppose to be the representation of teen hood in its wackiest? Mialover730 07:23, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
