Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy is an episode of Star Trek: Voyager, the fourth episode of the sixth season.
[edit] Plot summary
The Doctor makes adjustments to his program to allow him to daydream happily. Meanwhile, an alien ship is hiding in a nebula monitoring them. However, unknown to them, they are actually monitoring the Doctor's daydreams. Because of this, the Doctor's program starts to malfunction, making him daydream more often and more heavily, until he finally cannot wake.
The Doctor creates an extension to himself called Emergency Command Hologram, which enables him to take the place of command personnel aboard the ship in case of an emergency.
