User talk:Togemon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Greetings!
My name is Ryan, and it's my pleasure to welcome you, Togemon, to Wikipedia! First of all, I'd like to thank you for joining the project, and contributing to articles and discussion. I hope you can continue to take part in Wikipedia, because we need more valuable editors like yourself.
If you are new and need some assistance, here are some great links to check out:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia are the primary goals and most important rules that we follow.
- These help pages are important if you'd like to learn more about specific processes.
- The tutorial is a hands-on approach to learning all about editing.
- For a "crash course" in editing, head on over to Redwolf24's Bootcamp!
- Writing a great article is a noble accomplishment. An article you start might end up on the Main Page!
- The Manual of style is an in-depth group of pages that will teach you how to make articles look their very best.
I hope you enjoy editing here, and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, find out where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Before I go, here's one more tip. When you post on talk pages, be sure to sign your name and the date by typing four tildes: ~~~~. That automatically generates your username and the date. Again, welcome, and happy editing! --Merovingian 04:03, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Saint-Just
I think the most important thing to remember for any further work on the Saint-Just article is to be careful to use solid references and cite your sources, especially in any matters of likely controversy (plenty of that for this topic). You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:Cite sources, if you haven't already. That's going to be the nub of the matter. Don't worry too much about how to write up your citations if the mechanisms for that are new to you. Just worry about getting them in there clearly. If the 1911 Britannica's opinions are to be in there, they should be explicitly cited as the 1911 Britannica's opinions (see Maximilien Robespierre#Historians' views of Robespierre for an example of doing this appropriately). Ditto anyone else's, and those should be only sources with some reasonable claim to authority. Other than that? It's an article that could use a lot of work. If you have factual material to add, that's great. -- Jmabel|Talk 05:18, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 13 Ghosts
Thank you for your help with the ghosts. It's been a while since I've seen the movie, so I had to rely on other sources. -Fuzzy 03:07, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
