I have reverted this change:

Farquharson played international football for both Ireland teams - the IFA XI and the FAI XI.

back to this version:

Farquharson played international football for both Ireland (the Irish Football Association team, now Northern Ireland) and the Irish Free State (the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) team, now the Republic of Ireland).
