Thomas "Tom" Bladon (born December 29, 1952 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played 610 NHL games over a nine-season career mostly with the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He won the Stanley Cup with the Flyers in 1974 and 1975. He also had brief stops with the Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Red Wings. He is best remembered for the game played on December 11, 1977 against the Cleveland Barons, in which he scored four goals and added four assists, becoming the first defenseman and only the fourth person in NHL history to score 8 points in one game (only eleven have done it as of 2006). He currently lives in Alberta where he owns a Tim Horton's[citation needed].
