Tony Caunter

Tony Caunter (born 22 September 1937 in Southampton, Hampshire, England) is a British actor best known for his portrayal of Roy Evans in EastEnders from 1994-2003.
His numerous television credits are like a catalogue of the leading drama serials of the 1960s to the 1980s, and include Z-Cars, The Avengers, The Saint, The Champions, Dixon of Dock Green, Catweazle, The Professionals, The Sweeney, Minder, Pennies From Heaven, Howards' Way, Lovejoy, May to December, Boon and Heartbeat.
On three occasions he has appeared on Doctor Who (in the episodes The Crusade, Colony in Space and Enlightenment), and has also featured on Blake's 7.
He also has some experience as a comic actor in the early 1970s comedies Queenie's Castle (1970), All Our Saturdays (1973) and Beryl's Lot (1973).
