Tony Parkes (born May 5, 1949 in Sheffield) is an English former professional footballer. After retiring, he became a coach.
He was assistant manager of Blackburn Rovers. Parkes regularly stood in as caretaker manager for the club, taking over from Bobby Saxton, Don Mackay, Ray Harford, Roy Hodgson, Brian Kidd and Graeme Souness after their departures.
Parkes is currently assistant manager to Simon Grayson at Blackpool, having left Rovers following Mark Hughes' decision to bring in his own backroom team.
Parkes was also a player for Blackburn for many years in a midfield position.
